Top 5 Rising Trends in Wearable Technology

The people of this new generation are always craving for new advancements in technology. In return, technology produces items that are convenient and make life easier for the people of this new millennium. Previously, technological items are being held separately. But thanks to these new advancements that we have now wearable tech.
Wearable tech allows us to wear new and fascinating gadgets that you can keep directly in contact with your skin. These wearables are becoming the new trend not only in gadgets but also in fashion as well. Remember smartwatches did way back ago? For now, here are the top 5 rising trends in wearable technology this 2016:

1.Stress level tracker

We all know that smartwatches can track your physical movements such as how many calories you have burned by walking through a specific distance. However, wearable tech allows you now to keep tabs about your stress levels too. Fitbit and some other companies are already working on it so that we will be able to know whether we are having high levels of stress that we need to minimize. From a busy and hectic world that we are having now, we surely need this stress level tracker.

 2.Smart clothing

There are quite a number of clothing companies which now focuses on developing smart clothing especially for sports. A tech company based in St. Petersburg, Jabil and its Peak+, has now embedded sensors on sports shirts and bras that can record biometric data to monitor your body movement and progress without sacrificing the comfort of the garment you are wearing.

 3.Microsoft HoloLens

One of the most expensive wearable tech out there is probably the Microsoft HoloLens at an introductory price of $3,000. This will definitely make virtual reality better. What do you expect from a price like that? Well, you can simply expect the best of the best with all of its mind-blowing and fantastic videos as well as making virtual reality close to real life reality.

 4.GPS collars for pets

We always see people posting ads for their missing pets. But that won’t become a problem now as we can already purchase a GPS pet collar. This GPS collar will help us track down our beloved pets and let us know what activities they are in and their exact locations. This wearable tech is definitely very useful for both humans and pets in a way that when a pet is missing, it will be easier for an owner to find him even without placing any ads. This GPS collar is a sure must-have for all pet lovers out there.

  5. Smart sock

Aside from smart clothing, what we like the most among the many wearables is the smart sock. A smart sock will help keep track of your activity and let you know if there is a harmful and sudden movement that might cause an ankle injury. You will be alerted via an application if there is any. This wearable technology is very beneficial for both professional and amateur athletes, trainers, and even those regular people who jog and walk regularly.

Top 3 future trends will rule the wearable fitness industry

Fitness is becoming a fad in recent years with all of these program regimens such as yoga, gym, pilates, or running becoming a trend to health-buff individuals. The fitness industry is indeed booming and so must be the technology which caters to fitness and health. The rise of the quantum bracelet, which produces scalar energy to help the body enhance its biofield, has long been over. It seems like the bracelet was ages ago as there are new trends coming in to rule the wearable tech in the fitness industry.
Here are the top 3 future trends that will rule the wearable fitness industry:

 1.Xmetrics

Are you into swimming? If you are, then you should acquire an Xmetrics. It is the newest wearable tech that is becoming a fad for swimmers out there. It is designed for both pros and simple enthusiasts of the sport. When you swim on a tepid pool, all you have to do is to put this wearable fitness at the back of your head and it will help reduce drag. Xmetrics can also measure a broader set of bio-mechanics compared to any other wearables in swimming. There is a built-in real time audio which will update you with your performance while on the pool. It can tell you your stroke efficiency, breath counts, kick-turn time, and many more in a detailed and complete platform. So really, shouldn’t this a must have?

2.Fitbit

We all know Fitbit is the ultimate brand for fitness trackers. From all fitness trackers out there, Fitbit was the biggest selling and top company in 2015. But what should we expect now that competition has been tight with less expensive and more fashionable new brands? I have every reason to believe how Fitbit will still continue to trend and become the bestselling wearable in the future. They will have more advanced sensors to monitor blood pressure and stress as well as more insights from their collated health data to build a more specific form of coaching advice. Another key thing which proves that Fitbit is still very much on top of the market of wearable fitness is their better and bigger partnerships with different fashion brands to carry and endorse their products.

Another key factor for the future of wearables is the smart clothing. Clothing sports brand are in tight competition to manufacture smart clothing that can further improve wearable in the fitness industry. The label of Under Armour, for example, has already partnered with HTC back in February for the Grip. But they did not stop from there, they added three biggest fitness platforms on their list to make a vast online fitness community. Clothing+, a Finnish company, is also working to integrate technology into clothes for both medical and sports related applications. Problems will be detected and transmitted through safe electrical signals in the smart clothing. Once you wear the specific cloth equipped with it, what you are wearing will become a sensor and your movement and health will be monitored.

How iOS can support Samsung Gear S2 ?

iOs has always been enjoyed by iPhone users alone… until something shared the spotlight with them. iPhone users should look out for Samsung Gear watch as the company claims that they are iOS compatible. Some people may be pleased to know that we can finally share other files between these two phones after long years of being iPhone-limited. Though this has yet to be finalized for S2 watch, Samsung Gear S3 has already been updated with the iOS. But how can iOS support Samsung gear watch?

Samsung has rolled out their iOS beta program for both the S2 watch and the Gear fit 2 watch. Despite the compatibility, it is not expected that the program will be able to support the features that are best laid on Samsung’s own smartphones. However, you can be sure that the notifications are certainly up-to-date.

To further gain more knowledge and participate in this beta program, you will be able to sign up at their beta page. This program will last until September 19 and, thus, you can still subscribed and join it. If you are an iPhone owner though, you might need to upgrade to iOS 8.4 to participate in the program.

Samsung has announced the move to iOS compatibility last September 2015 as they launched a Tizen-running smartwatch. Tizen software is Samsung’s own company which enables them to develop their wearables. The app being developed now for S2 and Gear fit 2 watch is called Gear Manager. This app will allow Samsung to pair with any iPhones. However, since the app won’t be available on Apple’s App Store, you might need to download it on other sites. It can be sideloaded on a jailbroken iPhone for the application to be useful. But since iPhone is iPhone, it does not allow a third-party app to run on its system that easily.

But whatever comes of this little compatibility test, we might be able to expect the app to be released sooner than later as it must already be on its last testing stage and should be available on App Store soon enough.

Meanwhile, last August 31, 2016, a report on Apple Insider said Samsung has already announced their Gear S3 iOS watches.  It is powered by dual core 1.0GHz processor with a 1.3-inch circular 278 ppi AMOLED display. It has 758 MB RAM and 4GB storage. It is 12.9mm thick and weighs at either 57 g or 62 g, while Apple Watch is at 10.5mm thick and weighs at 50g. Furthermore, Apple has been rumored to release an update for their Apple Watch on their “See you on the 7th” event this coming Sept. 7 though rumors has it that it won’t update the LTE radio.

People are very keen to see the new release of the iOS supported Gear 2 Smartwatches and everyone is excited about that. We just hope that the price and release date will soon be made public so that we know when can we have these cool updated watch tightly secured on our wrist.

A Short guide to GoPro Hero 4 Black Review

Nick Woodman started everything with a 35mm film wrist camera to capture his surfing skills with high-quality definition. But it did not stop at that. The surfing camera was merely an inspiration to create bigger and brighter things to capture more moments in all sports – even those extreme ones – through the creation of GoPro back in 2002. From the day it was created up to now, GoPro never fails to amaze everyone with all of its innovation and high-quality capture skills.

GoPro cameras are the best in the market, so to speak. Hence, this article will focus more on a GoPro model whose camera surpasses and delivers better performance than any other GoPro products, the GoPro Hero 4 Black.

A short guide to GoPro Hero 4 black  will show you why this particular camera is the new craze in the sports photo journ world. It is considered as the most advanced in all of GoPro products as it can capture super slow motion at 240 frames per second. It enables stunning and immersive footage of you  through its 1080p120 and 720p240 slow motion and the best high-resolution at 4K30 and 2.7K60 video.

Among the GoPro cameras, this model is the product to choose for those who demand the best. It is also waterproof in as much as 40m depth with improved audio, and can take 12MP photos at a rate of 30 frames per second.

GoPro Hero 4 Black also features New Night Photo and Night Lapse modes that provide you with customizable exposure settings up to 30 seconds for both individual and Time Lapse photos. This will allow you to capture night moments in ultra-low light scenes and come up with the best quality there is.

As technology would have its share too, this camera will also give you easy access in sharing and connecting. It is equipped with a built-in WiFi and Bluetooth which allows you to connect to a GoPro App for mobile and Smart Remote. This app will convert your phone or tablet to a live video remote for your camera where you can control all functions and settings, as well as share photos on social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook.

On the downside, a GoPro Hero 4 Black review said the disadvantages of this camera include: no preview screen, low battery life and the fact that it is difficult to make changes without the GoPro app. But there are a lot of GoPro Hero 4 Black reviews which say many good things about this product and still recommend its usage to friends and families saying that they never saw any camera with great quality such as this GoPro offers.

In conclusion, Hero 4 Black is still highly-recommended because its advantages still outweigh its downside characteristics. With its ability to shot fast movements at slow motions, you can ensure that you will be able to capture those moments without putting high quality at risk. Indeed, this GoPro camera is a must-have for every sports adventurer out there who wants to capture all moments worth remembering perfectly.

Whether you want to look cool or chic, there is a great design that best suits you. Among the many smartwatch faces, there are those that surpass the rest. Hence, it is always better if you check on what’s in and what’s not before using any of these watch faces.

1. Star Wars

Who on earth does not love Star Wars? It is one of the longest franchises in the world that has surpassed generations. Hence, there is no reason why we won’t include it on our list of smartwatch faces.

This is for free, though you might need to pay for some of its premium features.

3. Watch Game Racer

Remember those LCD games that you played when you were still a kid? This watch face is a good way for you to reminisce it as the app imitates the old game fantastically. You can see plastic interiors with some control keys for race cars and you can interact with friends as well.

4. Thug Life by Wutron

No matter what your definition of Thug is, this smartwatch face doesn’t care. Wearing this on your watches does not mean that you are a thug or something, it can simply mean that you can appreciate cool designs.

A nod to the Tennessee Whiskey brand, this Jack watch face is certainly and very functional. It provides you with quick links to function keys as well as feature a stop watch and a timer. You can also check on weather updates and a lot of other features too.

So okay, they just made a ruckus to my brain because of that.
