Smart Watch Reviews- TopGizmo

With the fast growing development of technology nowadays, there is no question why we see a lot of improvements and new fascinating innovations that we could not even think of some decades ago. However, with the work of brilliant minds of our century as well as the desire of companies to give the best to its consumers (plus the tiny fact that they want to beat their field competitors), we have come into new things that make life easier and convenient for most of us. One of the things that are very useful in our generation today is a smart watch so that smart watch reviews are must to buy customers.

As we all know, smart watches can look like your typical watch... though with a brain. It does not only give us the current time, but it is also equipped with different abilities such as accepting calls and texts, and even seeing calendars and other time lines. But what can we say about such smart watches? Are some brands really greater than the rest?

1. Fitbit

One of the best things I commend Fitbit with is the fact that they do not falsely advertise. In fact, their claims of accuracy has been a subject of study at Iowa State University last 2014. They confirmed that the Fitbit products worn by the different participants in their study showed "reasonably accurate" ratings. With their Fitbit Zip and Fitbit One, this company is surely on the run for being one of the best smart watches manufacturers.

2. Pebble

Pebble is an excellent choice for smart watch for those who want to purchase a watch at a reasonable price but does not forsake its quality. You can purchase a Pebble smart watch as low as $78.92 and still be assured that it can have a stable performance. In addition, Pebble smart watches are also easy to set-up and are an Android/iOS compatible one with 50 meters waterproof capacity. If there is, one disadvantage to a great watch though is the fact that it had limited app selection when they launched it.

3. Samsung
The Samsung brand has been a household name for many years now when it comes to many appliances and gadgets. However, they made another leap when they introduced their smart watches and they are indeed a real rival to Apple when it comes to Android development. Despite flops on their previous attempts for smart watches, Samsung learned from their mistakes and created a smart watch that is worthy of a two thumbs-up. With Samsung's Gear S2, not only can you have a comfortable and good-looking watch, but you will also enjoy a well-polished Tizen OS that perfectly suits the watch's screen.

4. Apple

Not only did they take iPhone into the next level, but Apple is surely making its name when it comes to smart watches too! Though it can be quite expensive (as all Apple products are), you can be sure that it is of high quality and made with sleek and classy design that boasts of elegance and wealth. It can have hundreds of apps too, plus the fact that you can connect it with your iPhone to receive and send calls. One setback though is its low battery life, but what's the use of chargers, right?

5. Sony

Let's focus our Sony smart watch to 2 and 3. SW2 was launched at 2013, which supports any Android 4.0 or higher phones. It is also considered as dust resistant and can be submerged in water for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the smart watch3 is the first smart watch to have SoC platform and use a 1.2GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor. It can also have apps that can have GPS android wear on a standalone mode

Low-priced Smart Watches in the market - Beyond, Existing and Upcoming

Wearable Technology - Despite being one of the trendy items that each sports man should have, there are still some people, who tend to shy away from owning a smart watch because they are a bit expensive and it can strain your pockets. However, do they really? Or are we just too blinded by the fact that those branded ones get too much attention since they can pay for advertisements and the likes that they somehow overshadow those brands that are cheaper?

Surprising as it may be, there are many smart watches available in the market that are within your budget (they came from great brands too!) and they existed even before the start of this smart watch fad. Unbelievably, we saw too many smart watches right before our eyes. In fact, we once we used them as remote control and remember the ones that served as calculators? Do you remember them? I guess not since they did not linger as much as people envisioned them to be.
The first ever "smart watch" that was made commercially available was the pulsar time computer calculator by Hamilton. It was marketed with a staggering price of $2,100, and though people find it very useful to have a handy calculator strapped in their wrist all the time, the product suddenly flopped due to its expensive pricing.
In 1980, Casio developed their calculator into becoming a watch and added a key feature of a calendar. With an amount of $49, you can already have it and enjoy its benefits. Casio became extremely popular for their innovative creation at that time.
Over time, the desire for digital watches dwindled down and many people divert their attention back to those old traditional watches as it boast of more character and it makes you look more respectable compared to digital ones.
This should be a sign for manufacturers to give up smart watches, however, instead of accepting defeat, they tend to move forward and discover more ways to re-invent smart watches that can serve the needs of the consumers. That is why, in today's generation, there are many companies who introduce smart watches, wherein you can keep track of your fitness and health as well as get notifications from calls and texts among many other benefits.
On the contrary, smart watches are still watches but with just an added "brain" to perform some functions. And they should not really be as expensive, right?
